The RIDGE CLUB uses DUPR as the official rating system for members! DUPR is trusted by the world’s premiere pickleball clubs, professional tours, and recreational players alike! We are super excited to use this rating system as a mechanism to enhance our more competitive offerings.
What is DUPR
Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) is Pickleball’s most accurate Global Rating System. Regardless of age, gender, location, or skill, all players are rated on the same scale between 2.00 – 8.00. Results are based on MATCHES played.
Match results are inputted into your DUPR PROFILE from DUPR partners including the Ridge Club and other clubs, associations, tournament organizers, federations, and self-posted scores.
HOW DO I GET A DUPR RATING
If you are UNRATED and want to jump start your rating so it best reflects your skill set, schedule a DUPR RATING session with one of Ridge Club’s DUPR Certified Pros. Either Michael Messier or Donald Van Dyne can perform your first DUPR rating. Get rated and start playing in competitive fun DUPR play sessions.
If you already have a rating and want to maintain or increase your rating you have options- play in more DUPR reported sessions, register for tournaments, leagues or grab a group of friends play matches and input your scores directly to DUPR. Taking lessons and drilling more also help too.

Your DUPR Rating is GOOD FOR THE SEASON! If at any point, your DUPR Rating goes DOWN and moves you into a lower level bracket, your highest rating takes precedence. However, if your DUPR Rating goes UP and moves you into a higher-level bracket, you are rewarded and we will change your DUPR in the Ridge Club System. Just let us know!
How Does the Ridge Club use DUPR
The Ridge Club offers many programming opportunities that are leveled by beginner, intermediate, and advanced with a recommended DUPR RANGE. For players interested in more leveled, competitive play, there are programs with a verified DUPR RANGE. You can only sign up if your DUPR Rating is within the session range.
