POINTS & LADDER LEAGUE JACKPOT
This “POINTS & LADDER LEAGUE JACKPOT” has an exciting twist. Not only will you have a blast and meet new pickleball friends, but the Ridge Club is offering CASH prizes to the top four players. The series is for three consecutive weeks (events) – Saturday, September 13, 20 and 27 from 4p-6p. A player is not required to register to play in all three events to win but must play in at least one event to qualify.
PARTICIPATION:Everyone is welcome, and everyone has a shot to win. A player (member or non-member) can sign up for one event or all three. The more events you play the more points you will earn.
FORMAT is Ladder play- winners split and move up and losers split and move down. Each game will last 10 minutes. There are three events in this series. It is not necessary to play in all three events to still be a winner and have fun. Every player is seeded at the beginning of an event. Earned points for an event are determined by what court you are on at the end of the event. The four players with the most collected points at the end of the 3-event series will take home the jackpot and everyone will take home fun memories. The max number of players per event is 40.
PRIZES. The CASH prize amount is determined by the number of players. The more players, the bigger the purse. Players will keep 80% of the purse. Below is the percentage payout to players. In the event of a tie the dollar amount will be combined and evenly split with winners.
- 1st place wins 50%
- 2nd place wins 25%
- 3rd place wins 20%
- 4th place wins 5%
COST
- $5 per event date for Ridge Club members
- $10 per event date for non-members.
